TOSHIBA Corp. engages in the manufacture and sale of electronic and electrical products. It operates through the following segments: Energy Systems Solutions, Infrastructure Systems Solutions, Retail and Printing Solutions, Storage and Device Solutions, Industrial ICT Solutions, and Others. The Energy Systems Solutions segment offers hydro-electric, solar, geothermal, nuclear, and thermal power generation facilities. The Infrastructure Systems Solutions segment includes systems for water and sewage, roads, broadcasting and radio, elevators, air conditioning, lighting, environment, station automation, and transportation. The Retail and Printing Solutions segment provides point-of-sale systems and multifunction machines. The Storage and Device Solutions segment manufactures and sells power devices, small signal devices, optical semiconductors, mixed signal integrated circuits, image sensors, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The Industrial ICT Solutions deals with information technology solutions services. The Others segment offers logistics services. The company was founded in July 1875 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
