Mar 07, 2018 (Euclid Infotech Ltd via COMTEX) -- SINGAPORE shares resumed trading lower on Wednesday afternoon with the Straits Times Index at 3,463.94 points, down 27.98 points or about 0.8 per cent on the day as at 1pm.

About 1.3 billion shares worth S$709.7 million changed hands.

Losers outnumbered gainers 221 to 135.

Top gainers included Powermatic Data Systems, up 13 Singapore cents or 6.5 per cent to S$2.13 and Memtech International, up nine Singapore cents or 5.84 per cent to S$1.63.

Top losers included Jardine Matheson Holdings, down 96 US cents or 1.52 per cent at US$62.23 and Creative Technology, down 88 Singapore cents or 10.6 per cent at S$7.42.

The most actively traded counters were Genting Singapore, Allied Tech and Rowsley,
