Alstom buys U.S.-based B&C Transit

Alstom SA said Tuesday that is buying B&C Transit, Inc., a transit engineering design and construction company based in California.

The French train maker didn't disclose financial details of the deal.

The U.S. company, whose 2020 turnover was $45 million, is focused on the passenger rail sector and has about 85 employees.

The deal should be completed in the first quarter.
