The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Wednesday morning with shares of American Express and Chevron delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index. Shares of American Express (NYS:AXP) and Chevron (NYS:CVX) have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) was most recently trading 59 points, or 0.2%, lower. American Express's shares are off $2.45, or 2.5%, while those of Chevron have dropped $1.84, or 2.4%, combining for an approximately 28-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Salesforce.com Inc. (NYS:CRM) , Walt Disney (NYS:DIS) , and Apple Inc. (NAS:AAPL) . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
