The Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA -2.29% was most recently trading 767 points, or 2.8%, lower, as shares of American Express /zigman2/quotes/203805826/composite AXP -4.06% and Honeywell International Inc. /zigman2/quotes/205583690/composite HON -3.06% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline. American Express's shares are off $6.39 (6.2%) while those of Honeywell International Inc. have fallen $9.09 (5.4%), combining for an approximately 102-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are 3M /zigman2/quotes/205029460/composite MMM -2.14% , UnitedHealth /zigman2/quotes/210453738/composite UNH -2.28% , and Dow Inc. /zigman2/quotes/203121064/composite DOW -2.84% . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.58-point swing.
