Behind negative returns for shares of American Express and Intel, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Monday afternoon. Shares of American Express (NYS:AXP) and Intel (NAS:INTC) are contributing to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) was most recently trading 203 points, or 0.7%, lower. American Express's shares are down $5.08, or 4.0%, while those of Intel have dropped $2.16 (3.8%), combining for a roughly 49-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Goldman Sachs (NYS:GS) , Boeing (NYS:BA) , and Dow Inc. (NYS:DOW) . A $1 move in any of the benchmark's 30 components results in a 6.78-point swing.
