Aramark (NYS:ARMK) Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings that fell short of analysts' estimates.
The Philadelphia-based food, facilities management and uniforms provider reported a profit of $29.4 million, or 12 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected 39 cents a share.
On an adjusted basis, Aramark reported earnings of 45 cents a share. Analysts were expecting adjusted EPS of 49 cents.
Revenue came to $4 billion, Aramark said, coming up just short of the $4.01 billion analysts were targeting.
The company said it expects full-year adjusted per-share earnings of $2.20 to $2.30.
