Autodesk reported net income of $64.7 million, or 59 cents a share, in the quarter, compared with net income of $64.7 million, or 29 cents a share, in the year-ago fourth quarter. Revenue improved 22% to $899 million from $737.3 million a year ago. Autodesk's guidance of net income of 34 cents to 40 cents a share on revenue of $880 million to $895 million was short of analyst estimates of 46 cents a share on $911 million. For the fourth quarter, analysts surveyed by FactSet had expected net income of 43 cents a share on sales of $890 million. Autodesk shares are up 11% in the last year.
