Boeing's shares are down $5.83 (3.5%) while those of Chevron have fallen $1.69 (2.2%), combining for a roughly 49-point drag on the Dow. American Express /zigman2/quotes/203805826/composite AXP -4.06% , Salesforce.com Inc. /zigman2/quotes/200515854/composite CRM -3.41% , and Apple Inc. /zigman2/quotes/202934861/composite AAPL +0.0087% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
