Buoyed by strong returns for shares of Boeing and Travelers, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Tuesday morning. The Dow (DOW:DJIA) was most recently trading 70 points, or 0.3%, higher, as shares of Boeing (NYS:BA) and Travelers (NYS:TRV) are contributing to the index's intraday rally. Boeing's shares are up $2.44, or 1.6%, while those of Travelers are up $1.61 (1.5%), combining for a roughly 27-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Chevron (NYS:CVX) , American Express (NYS:AXP) , and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYS:VZ) . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.58-point swing.
