BorgWarner Inc. /zigman2/quotes/201434123/composite BWA -0.84% said Tuesday it named Kevin Nowlan its new chief financial officer, effective April 1. The maker of engine and drivetrain products said Nowlan was previously CFO of Meritor Inc. /zigman2/quotes/206531768/composite MTOR -0.52% since 2013. BorgWarner said Thomas McGill, who has been acting as interim CFO, will become controller on April 1, succeeding Anthony Hensel, who will become vice president of special projects. BorgWarner's stock, which was still inactive in premarket trade, has rallied 10.7% year to date, while the S&P 500 /zigman2/quotes/210599714/realtime SPX +0.39% has climbed 13.0%.
