SÃO PAULO--Brazil's trade surplus narrowed in September from August as exports declined slightly more than imports, the economy ministry said Monday.
The country recorded a surplus of $3.99 billion in September after a surplus of $4.16 billion in August.
Brazilian exports fell to $28.95 billion last month, from $30.84 billion in August, while imports declined to $24.96 billion from $26.68 billion.
