Cannabis stocks mostly fall, after 2-day rally

The cannabis sector traded mostly lower Tuesday, with the ETFMG Alternative Harvest ETF /zigman2/quotes/204332491/composite MJ +0.28% down 1.0% as 24 of 38 components traded lower. The Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences Index ETF /zigman2/quotes/208856346/delayed CA:HMMJ +0.73% dropped 1.4%, with 43 of 57 components falling. The declines come the ETFMG ETF gained 4.6% and the Horizons ETF advanced 5.5% over the past two sessions, while the S&P 500 /zigman2/quotes/210599714/realtime SPX -0.54% tacked on 1.5%. Among some of the more-active pot stocks, Aurora Cannabis Inc. /zigman2/quotes/210559470/composite ACB +0.10% /zigman2/quotes/203734337/delayed CA:ACB +0.08% fell 2.6%, Canopy Growth Corp. /zigman2/quotes/200603886/composite CGC -0.99% /zigman2/quotes/202205609/delayed CA:WEED -0.74% shed 2.1%, Cronos Group Inc. /zigman2/quotes/206842762/composite CRON -0.42% /zigman2/quotes/202715342/delayed CA:CRON -1.16% gave up 2.5%, Tilray Inc. /zigman2/quotes/209129655/composite TLRY +3.65% slumped 5.3% and Canopy Rivers Inc. /zigman2/quotes/201002551/delayed CNPOF -5.86% /zigman2/quotes/214109402/delayed CA:RIV -8.80% lost 1.4%.
