Behind strong returns for shares of Chevron and American Express, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Monday morning. The Dow (DOW:DJIA) is trading 333 points (1.2%) higher, as shares of Chevron (NYS:CVX) and American Express (NYS:AXP) have contributed to the index's intraday rally. Chevron's shares have risen $2.40, or 3.3%, while those of American Express have gained $2.52 (2.6%), combining for an approximately 32-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Boeing (NYS:BA) , Dow Inc. (NYS:DOW) , and Walgreens Boots (NAS:WBA) . A $1 move in any of the index's 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
