Chevron's shares are up $2.60, or 3.1%, while those of Boeing have risen $6.13, or 3.0%, combining for an approximately 57-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Goldman Sachs /zigman2/quotes/209237603/composite GS -1.22% , Caterpillar /zigman2/quotes/203434128/composite CAT +2.56% , and Dow Inc. /zigman2/quotes/203121064/composite DOW +2.52% . A $1 move in any of the index's 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
