Chevron's shares have risen $4.10, or 4.8%, while those of Boeing are up $9.68, or 4.8%, combining for an approximately 91-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Dow Inc. /zigman2/quotes/203121064/composite DOW -2.60% , Goldman Sachs /zigman2/quotes/209237603/composite GS -0.87% , and Intel /zigman2/quotes/203649727/composite INTC -4.42% . A $1 move in any of the Dow's 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
