Shares of Boeing /zigman2/quotes/208579720/composite BA -3.90% and Chevron /zigman2/quotes/205871374/composite CVX -2.25% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline, as the Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA -2.29% was most recently trading 81 points, or 0.3%, lower. Boeing's shares have declined $3.97 (2.4%) while those of Chevron have dropped $1.44, or 1.9%, combining for a roughly 36-point drag on the Dow. Walt Disney /zigman2/quotes/203410047/composite DIS -3.34% , Goldman Sachs /zigman2/quotes/209237603/composite GS -1.90% , and JPMorgan Chase /zigman2/quotes/205971034/composite JPM -2.48% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the index's 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
