Shares of American Express /zigman2/quotes/203805826/composite AXP -3.64% and Honeywell International Inc. /zigman2/quotes/205583690/composite HON -0.74% are contributing to the index's intraday decline, as the Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA -0.10% was most recently trading 843 points, or 3.0%, lower. American Express's shares have fallen $6.70 (6.5%) while those of Honeywell International Inc. have dropped $8.73, or 5.2%, combining for a roughly 102-point drag on the Dow. 3M /zigman2/quotes/205029460/composite MMM -0.53% , UnitedHealth /zigman2/quotes/210453738/composite UNH +1.50% , and Dow Inc. /zigman2/quotes/203121064/composite DOW -0.59% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
