Dragged down by declines for shares of Apple Inc. and Microsoft, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Friday afternoon. Shares of Apple Inc. (NAS:AAPL) and Microsoft (NAS:MSFT) are contributing to the index's intraday decline, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) was most recently trading 81 points, or 0.3%, lower. Apple Inc.'s shares have fallen $2.95 (2.7%) while those of Microsoft are down $3.82 (1.9%), combining for a roughly 45-point drag on the Dow. Boeing (NYS:BA) , Intel (NAS:INTC) , and Cisco (NAS:CSCO) are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
