The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Tuesday afternoon with shares of Chevron and Travelers facing the biggest declines for the index. Shares of Chevron (NYS:CVX) and Travelers (NYS:TRV) have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) was most recently trading 148 points, or 0.5%, lower. Chevron's shares are off $2.14 (2.9%) while those of Travelers are down $2.80, or 2.5%, combining for a roughly 33-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Boeing (NYS:BA) , Dow Inc. (NYS:DOW) , and Walt Disney (NYS:DIS) . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
