The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Tuesday afternoon with shares of Dow Inc. and Home Depot delivering strong returns for the blue-chip average. Shares of Dow Inc. (NYS:DOW) and Home Depot (NYS:HD) have contributed to the index's intraday rally, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) is trading 26 points, or 0.1%, higher. Dow Inc.'s shares are up $1.36, or 2.7%, while those of Home Depot are up $5.83, or 2.1%, combining for a roughly 47-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Salesforce.com Inc. (NYS:CRM) , Intel (NAS:INTC) , and Microsoft (NAS:MSFT) . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
