Dow Inc.'s shares have fallen $2.00, or 4.5%, while those of Travelers have fallen $3.49, or 2.9%, combining for a roughly 38-point drag on the Dow. Microsoft /zigman2/quotes/207732364/composite MSFT +0.91% , Apple Inc. /zigman2/quotes/202934861/composite AAPL +0.48% , and Boeing /zigman2/quotes/208579720/composite BA +1.24% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the index's 30 components equates to a 6.86-point swing.
