The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Monday afternoon with shares of Boeing and Dow Inc. seeing positive momentum for the price-weighted average. The Dow (DOW:DJIA) is trading 462 points (1.7%) higher, as shares of Boeing (NYS:BA) and Dow Inc. (NYS:DOW) are contributing to the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally. Boeing's shares are up $10.21 (6.5%) while those of Dow Inc. have gained $1.60 (3.5%), combining for a roughly 78-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Chevron (NYS:CVX) , JPMorgan Chase (NYS:JPM) , and American Express (NYS:AXP) . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
