Shares of Dow component Nike Inc. /zigman2/quotes/203439053/composite NKE -2.26% soared more than 9% after the athletic-apparel maker late Tuesday reported quarterly results that beat expectations. Shares of Johnson & Johnson /zigman2/quotes/201724570/composite JNJ -0.06% rose 2% after the company said it launched its pivotal global Phase 3 trial of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
