Led by positive gains for shares of Walt Disney and Chevron, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Thursday afternoon. Shares of Walt Disney (NYS:DIS) and Chevron (NYS:CVX) are contributing about a quarter of the index's intraday rally, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) is trading 110 points higher (0.3%). Walt Disney's shares have climbed $6.12 (5.4%) while those of Chevron are up $5.04, or 3.2%, combining for an approximately 74-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Dow Inc. (NYS:DOW) , Travelers (NYS:TRV) , and Caterpillar (NYS:CAT) . A $1 move in any of the index's 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
