Home Depot's shares are up $6.44, or 2.4%, while those of Apple Inc. are up $3.33 (2.2%), combining for an approximately 64-point boost for the Dow. Cisco /zigman2/quotes/209509471/composite CSCO -0.95% , Salesforce Inc. /zigman2/quotes/200515854/composite CRM -1.85% , and Verizon Communications Inc. /zigman2/quotes/204980236/composite VZ +0.58% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.59-point swing.
