Caterpillar's shares have risen $4.78, or 3.7%, while those of UnitedHealth have risen $9.44 (3.1%), combining for a roughly 98-point bump for the Dow. Travelers /zigman2/quotes/206313935/composite TRV +1.74% , Chevron /zigman2/quotes/205871374/composite CVX +2.62% , and Exxon Mobil /zigman2/quotes/204455864/composite XOM +2.48% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.86-point swing.
