The Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA -1.19% was most recently trading 58 points higher (0.2%), as shares of Pfizer /zigman2/quotes/202877789/composite PFE -0.30% and McDonald's /zigman2/quotes/203508018/composite MCD -0.67% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally. Pfizer's shares are up $1.31 (3.6%) while those of McDonald's have gained $5.92 (3.1%), combining for a roughly 50-point boost for the Dow. IBM /zigman2/quotes/203856914/composite IBM -1.39% , Coca-Cola /zigman2/quotes/209159848/composite KO -0.57% , and Caterpillar /zigman2/quotes/203434128/composite CAT -0.05% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.86-point swing.
