The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Thursday afternoon with shares of Apple Inc. and Caterpillar leading the way for the price-weighted average. Shares of Apple Inc. (NAS:AAPL) and Caterpillar (NYS:CAT) have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) is trading 95 points, or 0.4%, higher. Apple Inc.'s shares have gained $3.85 (3.5%) while those of Caterpillar are up $2.98 (2.0%), combining for an approximately 45-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Visa (NYS:V) , Honeywell International Inc. (NYS:HON) , and Walt Disney (NYS:DIS) . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
