Led by positive momentum for shares of Goldman Sachs and Coca-Cola, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Thursday afternoon. The Dow (DOW:DJIA) is trading 129 points higher (0.5%), as shares of Goldman Sachs (NYS:GS) and Coca-Cola (NYS:KO) have contributed around a quarter of the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally. Goldman Sachs's shares have climbed $9.92 (5.3%) while those of Coca-Cola are up $0.76, or 1.6%, combining for an approximately 70-point boost for the Dow. Apple Inc. (NAS:AAPL) , Microsoft (NAS:MSFT) , and Caterpillar (NYS:CAT) are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark's 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
