The Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA +1.05% was most recently trading 228 points (0.9%) higher, as shares of Caterpillar /zigman2/quotes/203434128/composite CAT +0.03% and Chevron /zigman2/quotes/205871374/composite CVX +1.23% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally. Caterpillar's shares have climbed $3.90, or 3.0%, while those of Chevron are up $2.11, or 2.5%, combining for a roughly 41-point boost for the Dow. Travelers /zigman2/quotes/206313935/composite TRV -0.88% , Exxon Mobil /zigman2/quotes/204455864/composite XOM -0.02% , and McDonald's /zigman2/quotes/203508018/composite MCD +0.50% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.86-point swing.
