Apple Inc.'s shares are up $6.35, or 1.7%, while those of Nike are up $1.36, or 1.4%, combining for an approximately 53-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Microsoft /zigman2/quotes/207732364/composite MSFT -1.79% , Cisco /zigman2/quotes/209509471/composite CSCO -0.71% and UnitedHealth /zigman2/quotes/210453738/composite UNH +0.95% . A $1 move in any of the benchmark's 30 components results in a 6.86-point swing.
