The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Thursday afternoon with shares of Intel and Chevron leading the way for the price-weighted average. Shares of Intel (NAS:INTC) and Chevron (NYS:CVX) have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally, as the Dow (DOW:DJIA) was most recently trading 69 points, or 0.2%, higher. Intel's shares are up $2.34, or 4.1%, while those of Chevron are up $2.84, or 3.0%, combining for a roughly 34-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Boeing (NYS:BA) , Johnson & Johnson (NYS:JNJ) , and IBM (NYS:IBM) . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
