The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Friday afternoon with shares of IBM and Intel facing the biggest losses for the blue-chip average. The Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA -1.50% was most recently trading 80 points, or 0.3%, lower, as shares of IBM /zigman2/quotes/203856914/composite IBM -2.89% and Intel /zigman2/quotes/203649727/composite INTC +0.63% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline. IBM's shares have declined $12.51 (9.5%) while those of Intel are off $5.14, or 8.2%, combining for an approximately 120-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Travelers /zigman2/quotes/206313935/composite TRV -1.69% , American Express /zigman2/quotes/203805826/composite AXP -1.33% , and Boeing /zigman2/quotes/208579720/composite BA -2.05% . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.78-point swing.
