Intel's shares have climbed $2.19 (4.3%) while those of Goldman Sachs have climbed $8.66 (3.0%), combining for a roughly 71-point bump for the Dow. JPMorgan Chase /zigman2/quotes/205971034/composite JPM +1.93% , Chevron /zigman2/quotes/205871374/composite CVX +1.12% , and Caterpillar /zigman2/quotes/203434128/composite CAT -0.42% are also contributing significantly to the gain.
