American Express's shares have dropped $5.43, or 5.3%, while those of UnitedHealth are off $13.72, or 4.4%, combining for a roughly 126-point drag on the Dow. Honeywell International Inc. /zigman2/quotes/205583690/composite HON -2.01% , Dow Inc. /zigman2/quotes/203121064/composite DOW -1.23% , and JPMorgan Chase /zigman2/quotes/205971034/composite JPM -1.89% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.58-point swing.
