What better way to salute the Notorious RBG than to do push-ups in front of her casket?

That’s exactly what the late Supreme Court justice’s personal trainer did on Friday, while Ruth Bader Ginsburg made history yet again by becoming the first woman and the first Jewish American to lie in state at the United States Capitol.

Besides breaking barriers as an equal rights champion and the second woman to serve on the country’s highest court, Ginsburg was also renowned for being a gym rat who fought five bouts with cancer over 21 years. So when her longtime trainer Bryant Johnson took his turn to approach her American flag-draped coffin shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Friday, he dropped and did three quick push-ups.

Many viewers on social media appreciated the fitting tribute to the iconic justice.

Thousands of people were expected to pay their respects to the women’s rights champion and leader of the court’s liberal bloc while her coffin was on public view at the Supreme Court earlier this week. And many booed President Donald Trump and chanted “vote him out” when he visited Ginsburg’s casket on Thursday.
