Shares of Entercom Communications Corp. /zigman2/quotes/203363871/composite ETM -2.93% spiked up 34.3% toward a four-month high in midday trading, after the sports radio company announced a 6-year partnership with online sports betting and fantasy platform FanDuel. Under terms of deal, FanDuel will be the official sportsbook of Entercom, and receive preferred and increased access to all Entercom talent in markets where Entercom and FanDuel operate, and Entercom's listeners will have access to FanDuel odds, insight and promotion. Entercom and FanDuel will collaborate on integrations and co-produce content. "We believe this is the largest advertising commitment ever made within the radio industry. We are focused on delivering the best sports betting experience for our audiences in markets where legalized sports betting will be pervasive," said Entercom Chief Executive David Field. "The marketplace is growing exponentially and FanDuel is an ideal partner to take full advantage of the influence and reach of Entercom's robust sports platforms to deliver an even better, audio sports experience to our listeners."
