Exxon Mobil's shares are up $0.76 (1.8%) while those of McDonald's have gained $3.13 (1.6%), combining for a roughly 27-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Boeing /zigman2/quotes/208579720/composite BA -3.58% , Verizon Communications Inc. /zigman2/quotes/204980236/composite VZ -1.52% , and Visa /zigman2/quotes/203660239/composite V -2.59% .
