Shares of Goldman Sachs /zigman2/quotes/209237603/composite GS -1.90% and Apple Inc. /zigman2/quotes/202934861/composite AAPL +0.0087% have contributed around one third of the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally, as the Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA -2.29% is trading 286 points, or 1.1%, higher. Goldman Sachs's shares are up $10.89 (5.8%) while those of Apple Inc. have risen $2.76 (2.6%), combining for a roughly 90-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Microsoft /zigman2/quotes/207732364/composite MSFT -2.84% , Caterpillar /zigman2/quotes/203434128/composite CAT -3.20% , and Coca-Cola /zigman2/quotes/209159848/composite KO -1.43% . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
