SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Guess Inc. (NYS:GES) reported late Wednesday its fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell to $69.6 million, or 82 cents a share, from $72.5 million, or 85 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the three months ended Feb. 1 fell to $768.4 million from $815.1 million. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected the Los Angeles-based apparel retailer to earn 78 cents a share on $758 million in revenue. The company said it expects to report a first-quarter loss of between 5 cents and 9 cents a share. Guess shares fell as much as 7% in after-hours trade.
