Hulu has a handful of new additions on tap for March, including a time-loop shoot-em-up and Season 2 of one of its more popular animated offerings.

“Boss Level” (March 5), an original movie directed by Joe Carnahan, is a tongue-in-cheek, action-packed spin on the “Groundhog Day”-like time-loop trope, with a former special-forces op (Frank Grillo) facing an endless stream of assassins from the moment he wakes up every morning. Mel Gibson and Naomi Watts co-star.

“Solar Opposites” (March 26), the twisted (and very adult) animated series from Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan (two of the folks behind “Rick and Morty”) returns for a second season, as an alien family tries to adapt to life on Earth.

Also of note coming to the Disney /zigman2/quotes/203410047/composite DIS +0.02% -controlled streaming service: Soleil Moon Frye’s child-star documentary “kid 90” (March 12); a new season of FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” spinoff “Mayans M.C.” (March 17); and “Genius: Aretha” (March 22), the latest installment in the NatGeo series, this time focusing on Aretha Franklin. Both will stream a day after new episodes air on cable.

UPDATE: Hulu is throwing a ’90s week leading up to the release of “kid 90,” with three classics from that decade: “Blossom” (March 8), “Felicity” (March 9) and “My So-Called Life” (March 11).
