Hermes International SCA said Wednesday that its net profit and revenue both grew in 2019, helped by growth in all regions.
The French luxury-goods company said net profit for the year rose to 1.53 billion euros ($1.66 billion) from EUR1.41 billion in 2018. The result is in line with analyst expectations of EUR1.53 billion, according to a consensus estimate provided by FactSet.
The result was driven by growth in all geographical areas, the company said.
Revenue for the period came in at EUR6.88 billion, up 15% compared with the same period last year. At constant exchange rates, revenue was up 12%.
Operating income stood at EUR2.34 billion, up from EUR2.13 billion in 2018, the company said.
"In the medium term, despite economic, geopolitical and monetary uncertainties around the world, the group confirms an ambitious goal for revenue growth at constant exchange rates," Hermes said.
The CAC 40-listed company proposed a dividend of EUR5.00 a share, up from EUR4.55 a share in 2018.
