Hormel Foods Corp. /zigman2/quotes/209170265/composite HRL +1.98% said Monday it will pay out more than $4 million in special bonuses to its employees, who the branded foods company said have continued to work to keep products available during the COVID-19 pandemic. The bonuses will include $300 for each full-time employee and $150 for each part-time employee. The company, which brands include Spam, Skippy, Hormel and Applegate, said it had more than 13,000 plant employees. The stock, which fell 4.8% in midday trading, has slipped 4.1% over the past month, while the S&P 500 /zigman2/quotes/210599714/realtime SPX +0.48% has dropped 33.1%.
