Thousands of couples postponed their weddings last year amid the pandemic, but this year, the festivities are back on — and the lovebirds want some serious gifts. (The iRobot Roomba 675 and the Ninja Professional 72 Oz Countertop Blender are among the most popular items they’re clamoring for.)

Indeed, The Atlantic writes that this is “an unprecedented wedding season,” as “couples who have postponed their wedding (in some cases more than once) are vying for resources with couples trying to book venues and photographers for the first time.” The New York Times declared in February simply that “the weddings boom is coming.”

That wedding boom has been a boom for Amazon too, according to recent data released by the company: Amazon Wedding Registry gift giving has more than doubled this year compared to the same period in 2020, the retail giant said.

So what are couples registering for? Here are the 11 most popular items:

  • Ninja Professional 72 Oz Countertop Blender ($89.99) This 1000-watt blender scores 4.7 stars on Amazon with more than 27,000 reviews.

  • Instant Pot Duo ($89) This popular 7-in-1 cooking device serves as an electric pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pot, yogurt maker, and more.

  • iRobot Roomba 675 (starting at $181) This Wi-Fi-enabled robot vacuum has more than 45,000 reviews on Amazon and has garnered a rating of 4.5 stars.

  • Ninja Air Fryer $99.99) This four-quart air fryer, which has upwards of 48,000 reviews and 4.8 stars, can air fry items at temperatures ranging from 105 degrees Fahrenheit to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • KitchenAid 5-Speed Hand Mixer ($49.99) This 4.7-star-rated handheld mixer can stir, beat and whip ingredients at five different speeds.

  • Jamie Oliver Granite Mortar and Pestle ($25) This 4.7-star-rated granite mortar and pestle allows you to easily and quickly crush spices, herbs and more.

  • Amazon Basics 6-Piece Nonstick Oven Bakeware Baking Set ($21) This steel set includes a 9×5-inch loaf pan, two round 9-inch cake pans, a 12-cup muffin pan, a 13×9-inch roast pan, and a 13×9-inch baking sheet.

  • Moscow Mule Set of 4 Copper Mugs ($47) This shiny 4.7-star-rated set includes four 16-ounce copper mugs, four copper cocktail straws, a shot glass and a recipe booklet.

  • The Complete Cooking for Two Cookbook ($24) In this 4.7-star-rated book, America’s Test Kitchen reengineered 650 of its most popular recipes to serve two people.

  • Amazon Basics 18-Piece Kitchen Dinnerware Set ($34) This white porcelain set, which includes service for six, gives you six of each: 10.5-inch dinner plate, 7.5-inch dessert plate and 5.5-inch bowl.

  • Magic Bullet Blender ($29) This 11-piece blender set has more than 55,000 reviews on Amazon and 4.5 stars.

And this all begs the question: How much should you be dropping on your wedding gift for the lovely couple? Vogue notes that “the minimum wedding gift amount you can get away with is $50 to $75,” but adds that if you’re friends with the couple, a gift of about $100 is standard, while family members spend upwards of $125.
