Persimmon PLC said Tuesday that business over the summer was robust despite the coronavirus pandemic and that it will declare a second interim dividend as it expects a good result for 2020.

The house builder said it is fully sold up for the current year and has about 1.36 billion pounds ($1.79 billion) of forward sales reserved beyond 2020, compared with GBP950 million at the same time last year.

The board declared a further interim dividend of 70 pence for December, which together with the interim dividend of 40 pence for September, replaces the previously postponed 110 pence final dividend for 2019.

A strong third-quarter performance was supported by firm selling prices and resilient demand for new build homes, Persimmon said. The average private weekly sales rates per site for the period was up 38% on 2019.

The company said that it was on course to deliver a good result for the full year and its sites across the U.K. are all operational but cautioned some coronavirus pandemic-related uncertainty remains.
