By Kim Richters

Renault SA said Friday that revenue fell in the third quarter of 2020 but came in ahead of analysts' expectations.

The French car maker's quarterly revenue declined 8.2% to 10.37 billion euros ($12.26 billion).

A consensus forecast based on analysts' estimates provided by Factset had expected revenue of EUR10.28 billion for the quarter.

In the quarter, Renault sold 806,320 vehicles world-wide.

The company said it expects to "achieve a positive Automotive operational free cash flow for the second half of the year."
