Smith & Wesson Brands Inc. said Thursday that profit rose in the second quarter of fiscal 2021 as revenue more than doubled in the period.
For the period ended Oct. 31, the Springfield, Mass.-based firearms manufacturer reported a profit of $52.2 million, or 92 cents a share, compared with $1.3 million, or 2 cents, for the same period last year.
Sales rose to $248.7 million from $113.7 million.
The board has declared a quarter dividend of 5 cents a share for the period.
