Christopher Davis, mutual funds analyst at Morningstar Inc., says that while management departures and sudden changes are enough to make investors avoid or sell some funds, replacing one star with another should be no reason for concern. That's why he's sticking with First Eagle Overseas, where Jean-Marie Eveillard has come back to the fund after the recent exit by his former co-manager.
