Starbucks Corp. /zigman2/quotes/207508890/composite SBUX -3.25% announced Monday that it is now offering subscription access to the Headspace meditation app to the company's U.S. and Canada workers. The app normally costs about $70 for an annual subscription after a two-week free trial. The effort is part of Starbucks' mental health benefits for its employees, which includes a revamped Employee Assistance Program that will connect workers with mental health experts. Starbucks shares have gained 38.7% for the past year while the S&P 500 index /zigman2/quotes/210599714/realtime SPX -3.35% is up 27.4% for the period.
